'We have already had inquiries from specialists in fields such as stroke, asthma and anaphylaxis and we are keen to work with other professional bodies to see if we can adapt iResus to distribute their guidelines onto the iPhones of their members,' he said. It was produced in collaboration with iMobileMedic.com and the Resuscitation Council (UK), which provides the application for free.

World's Shortest Man Dies of Cardiac Complication

He Pingping, the world's shortest man passed away because of cardiac complications. Pingping Pingping who was born in China dies at just 21 years old. when , who was 29 inches tall, was filming a television programme in Italy when he developed chest problems.

Pingping became very popular after being crowned as a record-holder of shortest man in March 2008. He was 29 inches tall due to dwarfism he suffered. He was was filming a television programme in Italy when he developed chest problems. Then, taken to hospital in Rome for treatment but passed away on Saturday. It is understood he died of heart complications.

Guinness World Records editor-in-chief Craig Glenday, who measured Pingping in Inner Mongolia to confirm his status as the world's smallest man, paid tribute to him today.

The Secret of Einstein Relativity Theory Published

Eventually the Jewish state, Israel showed the presence of the original manuscript of relativity theory written by Albert Einstein for the first time to the public. A total of 46 pages of handwritten notes are on display at the Academy of Science and Humanities of Israel in Jerusalem in order to their commemorate 50 years anniversary.
This manuscript was first published in 1916, and this theory is an important breakthrough in modern physics. As reported in dailymail, Hanoch Gutfreund who was one former founder of the Hebrew University says that the theory is feasible called as Magna Carta of physics.

Mysterious Snake Appears on Queen Elizabeth Painting

National Portrait Gallery in London was shocked with snake figure which mysteriously appears in the painting of the 16th century depicting Queen Elizabeth I. But I don’t know why I’m so blasé let him sitting up alone in my chair, so when he moves the chair become unbalance then fall with my son. His head hit a floor. He was cried a lot for few minutes. I hold him for a while till he fall a sleep. I really regret because that was my false. But then I felt relieved since I’ve not found the signs of bad head injury on my little one. No swollen in the head, no bleed and crying only fo aminutes. In fact, head injury is very common accident in babies and children. That is because they are very active to move. Be careful moms, severe head injury often causes disability and death. A head injury itself is any trauma that leading injury of the scalp, scull and brain. Fortunately, most childhood falls or blows to the head result in injury to the scalp only, which is usually more frightening than threatening.

Developers at Microsoft Research and Carnegie Mellon University were now been in a great project. They are working together to create an armband that projects an interface directly on to your skin.

They have combined a mini projector which creates a changing display with a sophisticated sensor that can tell which part of your arm is being tapped.

The researchers showed Skinput can be used to control audio devices, play simple games like Tetris, make phone calls and navigate simple browsing systems.

And it is effectively turns your arm into a touchscreen surface by picking up various ultra-low sounds produced when you tap different areas.

Different skin locations are acoustically distinct because of bone density and the filtering effect from soft tissues and joints. The team then used software that matched sound frequencies to specific skin locations.

If the prototype isn't resting on the arm, it uses wireless technology like Bluetooth to transmit the commands to the device being controlled, such as a phone, iPod, or computer. Currently, the acoustic detector can detect five skin locations with an accuracy of 95.5 per cent, which would be high enough for many smartphone applications.

Many couples have been waiting to have a baby for a long time. But they feel hesitate or lazy to do fertility test in the hospital or fertility clinic. Especially men, because they are less comfortable if may be the result is not fertile. Because even though such test results are confidential, but still needs to know by the doctor. In other side, without any test a couple would never have known who is infertile or must be treated.
Now the problem can be slightly resolved after Dr John Herr from the UK and his team found a tool to measure the fertility of men at home. The shape is almost similar to pregnancy check tool. If both negative strip, the man may be was infertile. The tool works by detecting a specific molecule on the sperm, which are antigen molecules on the surface of the sperm head, called the SP-10.
The measurement of sperm quality tool which is called Fertility Sperm Check is now still going through the licensing process by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The planned price is quite affordable, which is around US $ 25, much cheaper than full sperm tests to determine male fertility. This tool was developed during a year and has high accuracy of about 96% . It was tested on 225 male participants.
Just for your information, generally normal sperm count is 20 million milliliters or more. By using a tool to measure fertility, a man can know how the average number of sperm, if the above standards, or just below it so that he can decide as soon as possible in case he requires medical treatment.

Earth was shaking again. After Haiti, powerful earthquake now attack in Chile, North America. The SR 8,8 reported killed more than 300 people. The building burned, the others collapsed and bridges collapsed in central Chile.
Apartment blocks with 200 people inside collapsed in Concepcion, the nearest big city to the epicenter. The rescue workers said they were not sure how many people who had fled. Reportedly also, overturned cars scattered under the flyover in the capital Santiago. Super Golfer Granny Still Swinging at 88

Age is not the reason to stop to do your best. Every minute of your life is a chance to make yourself to be what you want and become legend someday you have to leave this earth. That is maybe what is in Joyce Crowther’s mind. She is not young now, but still active in golf field. Super granny who was crowned Britain's longest serving female golfer this week, now was 88 years old, the age when some other people have to spend the time in wheelchair.
Mrs Crowther started playing golf in 1932 at the age of just 10, and joined her local golf club three years later. Then, every week since 1935 she has pounded the 6,213 yards of the course at the historic 18 hole Bolton Golf Club in Greater Manchester after she was persuaded to take up the sport by her father.
Now officials at the club - which opened in 1912, just 23 years before Mrs Crowther became its only female junior - have held a celebratory dinner in her honour to mark 75 years of membership.
Mrs Crowther had a handicap of 12 and in 1947 and 1956 she won the Best Scratch Score, then in 1949 and 1954 she won the President's Cup.
And in 1965 Joyce became Lady Captain and captaining the Bolton Golf Club Handicap Team to win the Lancashire Shield. Last year she went on a 'Golfing Cruise' and surprising everyone by coming home with another trophy for the Overall Lady Winner.
She is now a granny of 6 grandchildren who all playing golf also. They like playing together. So wonderful! Five-inch Wire Brush Found in McDonald's Burger

The 18 years old teenager was shocked when he found five inch wire brush in McDonald’s burger he was eating. Just imagine if he aware lately then swallow the wire. Of course he will get serious injury in the mouth or severely inside digestive tract. Brett Stephens, name of the teenager, was given the Chicken Legend sandwich by his mother who had earlier purchased the £3 snack from the fast food chain's Kidderminster branch. Then suddenly was shocked to discover the sharp object embedded in the meat part of the burger.

The mother, Janet Stephens, get furious. She just wonders what happen if she gives the burger to her 3 years old grandson. Of course it will be worse.

Ms Stephens claims McDonald's bosses simply laughed when she confronted them about the dangerous discovery and only offered an exchange.

'I called the store immediately but all they said to me was to bring the burger back and they would replace it for another one.'

The incident has since been reported to Wyre Forest District Council’s food safety team.

In other side, Mc Donald’s spokesman said that they are really sorry about the incident. ‘We are very sorry that our usual high standards were not met and we have launched an urgent investigation.

McDonald’s takes the safety and quality of its food very seriously indeed and we offer our unreserved apologies for this isolated incident.

'We asked for the item to be returned, to help our ongoing investigation and to resolve this complaint to the customer’s satisfaction.'

Researchers have revealed they have created a low-fat chocolate which is 60 per cent water - and they are insisting it tastes just as good as a normal bar.

The breakthrough involves replacing fat in foods with calorie-free substances such as water, air or gel. The low-fat chocolate bar, which melts at 32-34C, was created by bonding water particles with crystals of cocoa butter.

And a similar technique is being used to lower salt content in foods by up to 80 per cent.

The research now still in process. And if it is successful, the scientist will also do the same with mayonnaise and porridge. They will create a super porridge that will make us full for up to six hours. Those are really good news for everyone who in tight diet.

A Family Sue Starbuck after Daughter Jab Her Mouth with Syringe Found There

Customer safety is one of the most important things to give in public business such as restaurant and hotel. When customers feel comfortable there, they will back and back again. Of course it will give profit to your business. This maybe that should be concerned by Starbucks, an American coffee giant which has branches world wide, after a family from Birmingham suing. They sue the coffee shop after Keeley Price stab her mouth with used needle which she found in there in the last 2006. Keeley who still 9 month olds in that time, was there with her granny, Linda Shipley.
The case happen at Birmingham County Court with Starbucks in the dock for failing to provide a duty of care to visitors to its store.
'Kelly was at the counter getting the drinks and I sat down in an armchair with Keeley in my arms’, Linda says as reported in Dailymail.
'She was reaching over my back and from the upholstery found a syringe and did what babies do at that age, put it in her mouth.
'I was horrified and immediately took it out of her mouth but in doing so pricked my hand, drawing blood.'
Kelly, 27, said they immediately complained to the manageress who logged it in the accident book but refused to help them further.
'She couldn't get us out of the shop fast enough,' Kelly said.
'We didn't get offered any first aid, there was no apology and no offer of a taxi to take us to hospital.'
Furthermore, Keeley and Linda have to get an injection and also 3 others jabs to prevent the disease which maybe contaminate the needle. As we know that used needle is very dangerous. We never know that it has used by HIV or Hepatitis person.
Actually, the family only wants the shop’s responsibility due to this careless service and hope will never happen again to other family. Now the case was brought to the court.
The Starbuck itself, by their spokeswoman said that they confirm the case confirm that in March 2006 an incident occurred at Starbucks coffee house in the Bullring Borders bookstore.
'According to their records, Mrs Shipley was offered first aid in the store and a member of the Bull Ring security offered to call her an ambulance.
'The incident was taken very seriously and later the same day our customer care manager phoned Mrs Shipley to enquire after her well-being’ she added. They also fully cooperated with police enquiry.

Why Seasonal Flu Can Be Life Threatening?

Flu is very common winter problem especially in the countries that have 4 seasons. While in tropical countries flu can attack almost all year. During this time people consider that flu is a mild disease until outbreak of bird flu and swine flu happen. Stay Healthy by Washing Hand

Everyone wants to be healthy. When we were healthy, we can do everything we want. But sometime we can’t keep it. We do anything that is harmful for our body. We eat junk food, we won’t to do sport and we don’t keep self hygiene.

The easiest way to be healthy is washing hand frequently since it can prevent infection or spread of the germs. Washing hands only need water, soap or an alcohol-based sanitizer.

Why it is important? Everyday, when we touching people, surface and object, we accumulate germs on our hands. Then, we will infect ourselves when we touch nose, mouth, or eyes after. Washing hands frequently minimize the spread of bacteria, viruses, and other microbes.

Hand washing should be done before eating, preparing food, treating wound, giving medicine, touch injured person, and inserting or removing contact lenses.

We also have to wash hands after preparing food especially meat and poultry, using toilet, changing diapers, touching animal, sneezing, coughing, blowing nose, treating wound, touching injured person, and handling garbage or something dirty.

There are some steps to do proper hand washing:

1. Wet our hands in running water.
2. Apply liquid or bar soap.
3. Lather well.
4. Rub your hands vigorously for at least 20 seconds. Remember to scrub all surfaces, including the backs of your hands, wrists, between your fingers and under your fingernails.
5. Rinse well.
6. Dry your hands with a clean or disposable towel or air dryer.
7. If possible, use your towel to turn off the faucet.

Hand washing heard very simple but sometime difficult to be done. That needs our discipline. But it’s a must. Remember the swine flu outbreaks few months ago? Ya, washing hands proven can limit the spread of the disease.
