Cardiac arrest or known as heart attack can be suffered by everybody, everywhere and anytime. The attack is always cannot be predicted and this need very soon treatment. It will be late if we wait for rescuer with do nothing. Now iPhone try to solve the problem by launching an application which is will help to guide someone to treat heart attack today. The free iResus application for iPhones aims to reduce the risk of human error by prompting clinicians through a checklist of things to do when resuscitating critically ill patients in or near cardiac arrest. The prompts depend on the age and condition of the patient and a more basic version is also available for first aiders.
The application was now become one of most popular application of iPhone today. It was mostly downloaded by doctors. Dr Daniel Low and partner who develop iResus took eight month for this project. He was an expert in computer software design, and he is looking at expanding the application for other medical conditions.
'We have already had inquiries from specialists in fields such as stroke, asthma and anaphylaxis and we are keen to work with other professional bodies to see if we can adapt iResus to distribute their guidelines onto the iPhones of their members,' he said. It was produced in collaboration with iMobileMedic.com and the Resuscitation Council (UK), which provides the application for free.
That is one of really great discovery. Using advance technology to help others and hope this can decrease the number of fatality due to heart attack.
